Lessons for adults are completely designed around the needs and requirements of each individual. Some of the adults that have lessons here come because the start out as complete non swimmers and want to work on the initial aims of learning to float and propel themselves through the water independently. Others are self taught and want to improve their strokes or master a particular skill, for example regular breathing with front crawl.

There are also adults who use their lessons for rehabilitation following illness or injury.

Another group of adult swimmers are those who are confident, experienced swimmers who want a facility that they can use for training, particularly prior to a long distance event or triathlon. (link training)
